Blazing Fabrication is an Edinburgh-area sole trader business providing quote-led custom 3D printing.
The website is used for enquiries rather than instant online checkout. Required trading details, business address, final price, payment method, delivery or collection arrangements, cancellation information, and any deposit terms will be provided in writing before an order is placed.
Formal quotes, order confirmations, invoices, and customer correspondence will include the business name and any required sole trader details.
Terms & Conditions
Quote-led custom work.
Submitting the quote form starts an enquiry only. It does not create an order, reserve production time, or guarantee that the work can be accepted.
Work only begins after the scope, price, payment terms, file requirements, material, finish, turnaround, and key limitations have been confirmed and accepted.
Customers are responsible for making sure they have the right to use any uploaded model, image, drawing, logo, or design. Requests may be declined if they appear unsafe, unlawful, unsuitable for the available process, or likely to infringe another person or organisation's rights.
3D printed parts can have visible layer lines, small tolerance variation, and finish variation. Suitability for heat, load-bearing use, food contact, outdoor use, child safety, or mechanical stress must be discussed before an order is agreed.
Changes requested after work has started may affect price, timing, cancellation rights, and whether the change can be accepted.
Returns & Refunds
Custom items and faulty goods.
Most work is custom-made to the agreed specification. Custom-made or personalised items may not be cancellable simply because you change your mind once production has started or the item has been made.
This does not affect statutory rights. If an item is faulty, not as described, or does not match the agreed specification, provide the order details and clear photos so the issue can be reviewed.
Where a repair, replacement, return, or refund is appropriate, the next step will be based on the fault, the agreed specification, and the condition of the item. Refunds are normally returned to the original payment method.
Where cancellation rights apply, cancellation instructions will be provided with the written quote or order confirmation before the order is placed.
Delivery & Collection
Confirmed before payment.
Collection, local delivery, postage, packaging, delivery cost, and estimated timing are confirmed as part of the quote or order before payment is taken.
Delivery estimates depend on file review, material availability, print time, finishing requirements, quantity, and courier or local-delivery availability. If a deadline matters, include it in the quote request before work is accepted.
Unless a different timing is agreed in writing, goods will be delivered within the legal timeframe that applies to the order.
Privacy Policy
How quote details are handled.
Information sent through the quote form is used to review your request, check feasibility, respond to you, prepare quotes, manage agreed work, and keep business records.
The quote form may collect your name, email address, subject, project type, quantity, project description, approximate dimensions, material or colour preferences, deadline, collection or delivery notes, uploaded model files, browser user agent, a hashed IP address for spam and security checks, and the time of submission.
Model files, project details, and customer messages are treated as private project information. They are not published, sold, or used in public portfolio material without permission.
Information may be shared only where needed to provide the service, for example with website hosting, spam protection, storage, email, payment, delivery, accounting, tax, or legal providers.
Enquiries that do not become orders are kept only as long as needed to respond and manage reasonable follow-up. Order, invoice, payment, and accounting records may be kept for at least five years after the relevant 31 January Self Assessment deadline, or longer where required for legal, tax, accounting, or dispute purposes.
You can ask for access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information. Some records may need to be retained where required for tax, legal, accounting, or legitimate business reasons.

The site uses essential technologies needed to provide the quote request service, protect the form from spam, handle file uploads, keep the site secure, and make the site function correctly.
The quote form uses Cloudflare Turnstile for spam protection. Cloudflare may process technical information about your browser and device to verify that the form is being submitted legitimately.
Non-essential analytics, advertising, or marketing cookies are not currently used. If those tools are added later, this policy will be updated and any required cookie choice will be provided before non-essential cookies are set.
